Understandably this is a worrying time for our whānau and indeed, the motu.
 
Our people are resilient in times of challenge. We were among the first to begin adaptions to our lives to slow the spread of Covid 19 and despite the Government alert level lifting from 2 to 3 yesterday, further lifting to 4 apōpō, we will continue to rise as a people to this challenge. 
 
Please keep up the effort, continue looking out for our older and more vulnerable whānau members, isolate as much as possible and manaaki one another through this time.
